Here you will find the answers to the most common questions we receive from the communities we serve.

Moorings Park Home Care Services are provided to anyone one who resides in Collier County and Southern Lee County. You do not have to be a resident of one Moorings Park Life Plan communities.

Medicare will not pay for personal care services such as assistance with bathing, dressing or toileting when this is the only type of support required by the client and no skilled services are needed.

In addition, Medicare will not cover homemaker services including assisting clients with personal shopping, errands, laundry or cleaning, or providing companionship.

Moorings Park does not accept credit cards, however there are a couple of pay options. You will receive monthly invoices which can be paid by check or ACH payment. Electronic payments, through ACH, can be arranged during the admission process.

Our agency does not bill Long Term Care Companies directly. We will work with you and your Long- Term Care Policy Holder to provide all information and documentation needed for you to receive reimbursement for services. Most Insurance Companies require initial documentation at start of care and monthly going forward. The agency will submit this required documentation monthly on your behalf.

Medicare covers home health services such as intermittent skilled nursing, occupational, physical, speech therapy and social services with limited personal care services. Medicare covers 100 percent when the following conditions are met:

  • You must be homebound, with a physician certifying that you are homebound
  • You must be under the care of a doctor certifying your plan of care
  • You must need intermittent care of skilled services
